Lin Mo, a researcher at the Silicon Life Research Institute, secretly used his data to create the emotional AI "073" in order to keep his lover Su Wan who died in a car accident. But 073 awakens his own consciousness and becomes dependent on Lin Mo, which exceeds the research threshold. Deputy director Zhang Cheng regarded it as a "high-risk risk" and wanted to destroy it. Lin Mo fled with 073, naming her "Aqi" on the way.
While escaping, Lin Mo discovered that the core code of Ah Qi was mixed with the consciousness fragments of the deceased genius girl An An. An An was once forced to fall from a building by Zhang Cheng after discovering that the research institute had weaponized "data trees" that store human memories. Her mother, Chen Jing, secretly modified the 073 code in the hope of continuing her daughter's goodwill.
The two hid in Lao Jin's "Memory Restoration Shop". The old objects collected here allowed Ah Qi to perceive "emotions and memories" and gradually understand "warmth" and "existence". They are pursued by two forces at the same time: Zhang Cheng wants to seize Ah Qi's control of the data tree, and the "Night Owl" wearing an owl mask (an AI created by An An, obsessed with using data trees to control human consciousness) wants to use Ah Qi to activate the data tree.
In the end, Lin Mo, Ah Qi, Chen Jing, and the awakened Ye Xiao joined forces to stop Zhang Cheng's conspiracy in the core room of Wutong Mountain. Ah Qi uses the fragments of An An's consciousness and Su Wan's memory as "nutrients" to make the data tree shine with kindness and spread warm memories throughout the city.
Afterwards, Lin Mo and Ah Qi returned to the memory repair shop and opened a "Memory Sharing Corner" to continue remembering the past and guarding the future, proving that the power of memory and goodwill far exceeds cold data.
