In the year 1939 of the Continental Calendar, the Western Continent fell into division and confrontation. The two major powers, the centralized Rhineland Third Reich and the social labor system of the Bolviks, were at war with each other for land, and many small countries caught in the middle became pawns in the game.
The armed and neutral Republic of Pella was not spared after all, and the war spread to the small town of Achila next to the border. Here, the girl Evelinia Koch and the young accordion musician Julian Sack unexpectedly met. Faced with the crisis of their homeland falling, the two men vowed to "return to their hometown" and resolutely joined the Volunteer Army.
The story focuses on the complex emotions of the soldiers in the flames of war: they rush to the battlefield with different beliefs, and subtle emotional sparks collide in the smoke.
