The Grand Strategy: Unfinished

Xuanhuan + supernatural + past lives and present, also known as The Riverlands' Stratagem: Souls Return Beneath the Republic-Era Moon

After appearing as "Shu Yin" in a period drama set in the Republic era, the dreams of Hua Yao, the Fang family's cousin, were taken over by a desperate, pale figure.

Astonishingly, that figure looked just like Wen Sixian, heir to the Wen family, whom she had glimpsed on the street!

Past and present collided without warning: she was Shu Yin, now lost to oblivion; he was her lover, Ji Zhaonan, who had sacrificed himself to deliver a top-secret list.

A century-old lonely soul, bound by an unfinished mission and a broken promise, was trapped in a charred ancient book, its soul flame about to go out.

The countdown had begun.

Old love and hatred surged up, while murderous schemes lurked within the wealthy family in her present life.

Before the soul dissipated, Hua Yao had to find the bloodstained Riverlands' Stratagem and break the obsession binding the spirit.

Could she bring back the lover she had to reunite with, even across the divide between life and death? And what world-shattering secret lay locked within the book's scorched pages?
