(Two male leads, both inexperienced, one-on-one romance) (Don’t read, it’s a mess, I wrote it just for fun)
When Li Qingyan fell out of the cultivation world, all he wanted was to lie flat.
Fishing, sunbathing, and teaching a few little disciples to pass the time: life was wonderful.
Until one day, he fished someone out of the lake.
The man was the deadbeat disciple he’d taken in three years ago. Now he was an emperor, obsessively possessive and so mad he’d even attack himself.
Li Qingyan rescued him and thought, “I’ll send him away as soon as he recovers. I’m absolutely not keeping him.”
But when Mo Xi woke up and saw him, he smiled.
“Master, I’ve finally found you.”
Later, locked in the bedchamber and staring at the iron chains around his wrists, Li Qingyan fell into deep thought.
He could break these chains with a single tug.
But every time he saw Mo Xi’s eyes, he just… couldn’t bring himself to.
He thought, “This child is just too dependent on me.”
Then one day, Mo Xi crossed the line, and Li Qingyan finally realized
This wasn’t dependence.
It was an illness.
And he seemed to be pretty sick himself.
(Things get a little unhinged after chapter 20. It’s not just Mo Xi who’s crazy: everyone in the little group is.)
