Corrupted eyes, locked traces, demonic bloodline contamination, the mystery of the calamity of the List
From Heavenly Immortal patrolling the skies to tainted sacrificial offering, from the bottom of the Immortal Burial Pit to the heart of the demon city, he bears more than bone-deep pain. He also carries a shocking secret that could shake the Three Realms.
Yun Chen was once a Heavenly Immortal who patrolled the skies. After glimpsing strange, writhing “dark red tentacles” on the Investiture List, he incurred Heaven's wrath. Doumu stripped him of his immortal bones, locked his pipa bones, and cast him into the Immortal Burial Pit in Lion Camel Ridge, where the corpses of countless demons lay piled high. There, he became the “holy meat” that a heretical cult sliced from day after day. Trapped with no way out, he detonated his inner core and melted the Immortal-Corroding Chains. Bearing burn marks seared into his bones and a contaminated, scorched left eye, he fled to the mighty human city of the Lion Camel Kingdom, rebuilt atop the ruins of a demon nation a thousand years old.
