Falling Stars: My Alien Boyfriend

Urban life (campus, daily life, romance) + science fiction (interstellar setting, star core, AI star spirits) + supernatural powers (combat, astral energy)

Ares, lord of a star domain, is forced to crash-land on Earth during a coup and assumes the identity of Lin Chen. After saving the heroine, he suffers a backlash from his star core. Pretending to have lost his memory, he is taken in by her, who provides him with a place to stay and arranges a job for him, helping him enter university and adapt to life on Earth.

Extreme contrast: the mightiest lord of a star domain versus an ordinary Earth wage earner.

Hard-core worldbuilding: sci-fi concepts such as the star core, star spirits, moonlight energy, and the Dawn Blade are woven into an urban setting.

Growth and recovery: the protagonist goes from losing all his power and nearing death from exhaustion to gradually recovering and laying plans for the future, a difficult journey.

Multiple conflicts: concealing his identity, regaining his power, searching for his younger sister, fighting off pursuers, fitting into life on Earth, and tangled relationships with Su Wanyi and Shen Qingqiu all intertwine to create a rich plot.

Memorable characters: the protagonist, Lin Chen (Ares), is calm, powerful, and mysterious, with the air of a natural leader. Supporting characters such as Su Wanyi (the aloof campus beauty), Shen Qingqiu (the perceptive teacher), Su Wancheng (the hot-blooded sidekick), and Scorpion and Bull (former mercenaries) are vivid and entertaining together.

One mystery after another: Lena's whereabouts, the current state of the Dawn Star Domain, the star spirit's full recovery, the true nature of moonlight energy, the purpose of the supercomputing center, and the company's plans.
