Paper Bride: Zangling Village

1. Adapted from the Chinese horror mystery puzzle game series Paper Bride, developed by HeartBeat Plus.

An ensemble story with no fixed protagonist.

2. Synopsis: I played from Paper Bride 1 through Paper Bride 7. I only watched a gameplay livestream for Paper Bride 8 in advance, and the plot nearly knocked me flat.

If no one else will rewrite the plot I’m unhappy with, I’ll write my own!

Nie Moqi shouldn’t be a saint who only knows how to forgive, and Nie Moli deserves to have her own drive and ambition! I can’t say whether the writing is any good, but I can say I’ve done my very best.

Disclaimer: This story takes place on an alternate timeline, and its content and character relationships do not completely match those of the Paper Bride games. The games have already done an excellent job with their puzzles, so I’ll skip any that can be skipped. None of the characters in this book are based on historical or real-life figures. Please don’t read it if it’s not to your taste. Thank you~
