There's a Little Loli in the Hospital

[Depressing] + [Deception] + [Betrayal] + [Everyday life] + [Urban] Loneliness shrouded the small hospital. In the dark ward, the clock ticked silently. There was only one patient, lying alone in bed. No one knew what was wrong with her. No doctor came to treat her, and no nurse came to care for her. She simply lay there by herself, in lonely silence. Hold me… if you can. Faint breaths overlapped, one after another, while helpless moans echoed down the corridor. The little girl summoned all her strength to climb out of bed and struggled to make her way out of the ward. The milky-white fluorescent lights flickered between bright and hazy. The pungent smell of alcohol seeped into her mind, and she began to lose the strength to hold herself up. How was she supposed to go on living!!! The girl’s heart fought desperately to hold together her shattered body as she inched along, one step at a time, leaning against the wall. This isn’t… this isn’t… Her frail body could no longer support her thoughts, and she collapsed helplessly onto the floor. Her pale face was reflected in the cold white tile. She closed her eyes and sank into sleep. This is something the author somehow managed to write while in an unknown state of mind. To borrow someone else’s words, reading it when you’re happy might make you depressed, and reading it when you’re sad might make you want to end it all (but please don’t actually do that!). That’s what the tags say, though the author doesn’t know if they’ve written it well. This is their first novel, so please don’t flame them if it isn’t good! If you have thoughts or suggestions about the plot or anything else, feel free to share. The author doesn’t bite. Go read the novel!
