I Foresaw You Loving Me

“Domineering CEO, a real jerk at first, then utterly smitten”

Jiang Wu pursued Qi Xingbei for four whole years.

She brought him breakfast, kept him company at the library, gave up a better job offer for him, and even waited all night outside his dorm in the pouring rain on his birthday.

Everyone knew she loved him. He was the only one who remained distant and aloof, begrudging her even a glance.

Until one day, she had a dream that showed her the future...

Ten years later, she was Qi Xingbei’s wife, trapped in a cold marriage.

He was consumed by his career, while she was imprisoned by loneliness. They sat facing each other in silence, like strangers bound together against their will.

When she woke, Jiang Wu decided to give up.

She stopped messaging him, stopped secretly watching him play basketball, and even went out of her way to avoid anywhere they might run into each other.

She thought she could escape the unhappy future that was destined for her.

But Qi Xingbei suddenly changed.

One day, he cornered her in a quiet nook of the library. His fingertip brushed her lips, his voice dangerous.

“Jiang Wu, who said you could avoid me?”

Later, as he kissed her until her legs went weak, she vaguely heard him say:

“We’ll change that future together.”

“If the two of us are destined to be unhappy ten years from now, then I’m going to defy fate and change our future.”
