Notes to Self: One Yuan

[Mutually devoted sweet romance + redemption + healing + love at first sight + school life]

[Warm, radiant tulip × shy little hedgehog who can’t stop crying]

The day Lou Mingyan met Zhou Huai, she found a coin he had dropped.

At the time, she thought he was a little strange, but cute.

Later, they became more than neighbors: they went to the same school, were in the same class, and sat at the same desk.

Lou Mingyan still thought he was strange, strangely cute, and strangely heartbreaking.

She told him, “Sunny days will come, and you’ll get better too.”

She stayed by his side.

And she would stay there in the future, too.

Zhou Huai had always been alone, ever since he was little.

The first time he felt the warmth of sunshine was the day he met Lou Mingyan.

She was smart, kind, brave, radiant, and dazzling.

Zhou Huai thought they would be best friends for life.

Until the day of their coming-of-age ceremony

A boy suddenly approached him and asked him to deliver a love letter to Lou Mingyan.

That was the first time Zhou Huai experienced the bittersweet ache of jealousy and realized what it meant to like someone.

Zhou Huai rarely lied, but when the boy made his request, he did.

-

Mingyan, I like you.

Please, don’t fall for anyone else, okay?
