Spiritual Qi Revival: I Begin by Playing Uchiha Itachi

Lin Chen, a transmigrator, arrives in a spiritual qi revival world where order has collapsed and struggles to survive. At the depths of despair, he binds himself to the mysterious Myriad Worlds Roleplay System. His first role turns out to be Itachi Uchiha, the tragic ninja from Naruto.

The System’s cold, unyielding rule is that he must recreate the character’s “fate.” Lin Chen’s only source of warmth is Ye Ran, an orphan he rescued in the apocalypse, with whom he has been sharing his life. He treats Ye Ran like a younger brother and protects him with everything he has. But Ye Ran’s astonishing talent invites disaster, bringing calamity down on the Ye family. The System then issues a cruel final mission: recreate the “Night of the Massacre,” slaughtering the entire Ye family and leaving only Ye Ran alive!

To survive, and to win Ye Ran a chance at life in this dead end, Lin Chen becomes the “Night Crow” and brings down his blade on a blood-moon night. He makes Ye Ran witness the tragedy, brands him with the deepest hatred, and leaves him with the curse, “Hate me, grow stronger, then take your revenge.” Then he flees into the darkness, bearing the name of a demon.

The price is the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan, and the tearing apart of his own soul. He becomes a wanted criminal, while Ye Ran, the “little brother” he shaped with his own hands, becomes a blade of light sworn to kill him. And this is only the beginning. When Itachi’s chapter ends and the wheel of the Myriad Worlds turns, where will the power and fate of the next unknown character lead Lin Chen? Between playing his roles and losing himself, can he find his true self in this broken world?
