I Fall for the Evening Breeze

(Childhood friends + devoted to each other + school life + long-planned love)

[The untouchable beauty and the little ray of sunshine]

In high school, everyone knew that Wen Yuhuai's gentle side was reserved exclusively for Song Shuyi. His piano keys answered only to Song Shuyi's baton, and as the lilting music played, she was always in the corner of his eye. On his sixteenth birthday, the boy made a wish to the gods: As long as Shushu is safe and happy, may everything go smoothly for her.

Later, beneath a grove of trees, he confessed to Song Shuyi, telling her all the words of love he had kept hidden in his heart.

If Song Shuyi was a little sun, then Wen Yuhuai was a sunflower growing toward the light.

After they got engaged, Song Shuyi saw a side of Wen Yuhuai she had never seen before. He pinned her against the wall, wrapped her in his arms, and kept telling her over and over that he loved her, his movements never stopping behind her.

When Wen Yuhuai turned twenty-two, he finally married the girl he had always longed for.
