Falling for Him After Marriage: I Married the Wrong Ice-Cold Man, and Now He Spoils Me

[Married first, love later + healing and redemption + devoted, sweet romance; seemingly aloof but truly loyal and abstinent CEO vs. resilient, warm ray of sunshine]

To save her family, Gu Anran is forced to marry Lu Jingshen, the ruthless tyrant of the business world, rumored to be cold-blooded, violent, uninterested in women, and even afflicted with a “secret ailment.”

The whole city is waiting to laugh as she becomes a neglected wife and suffers at his hands.

On their wedding night, she trembles with fear, only to hear him say, “Go to sleep. I won’t touch you.”

She thinks it will be a loveless, sexless arrangement, until she discovers that this iceberg has another side no one knows about.

When her stomach hurts, he awkwardly makes brown sugar water and leaves it by her bed. When she is bullied, he uses ruthless methods to ensure it never happens again. When her family frames her, he quietly clears every obstacle in her way.

He never says he cares, but his actions show it at every turn.

Later, when his “first love” returns with a scheme, and a family traitor exposes the secret of his “ailment,” the Lu Group faces an unprecedented crisis. As the whole world waits for him to fall, Gu Anran stands resolutely before him and declares to everyone:

“Lu Jingshen is mine, and I’ll protect him! I was there for his past, and I’ll stand by him through his future!”

Only then does Lu Jingshen realize that the heart he had kept frozen for years has already been completely melted by the little ray of sunshine who barged into his life.
