Xuyuan, a world being swallowed by [Forgotten].
The power does not come from aura, but from "legend". When the myth is forgotten, the corresponding laws collapse.
I am Su Wan, the last gravekeeper, guarding the "nameless hill" where the true names of ancient legends are buried.
My practice is to host a "conceptual funeral" to bid farewell to forgotten myths and absorb their dying power.
With each funeral, I gain control of a lost law, but at the cost of forever forgetting a part of myself
The day I held Knife's funeral, three things happened simultaneously:
A girl who calls herself "Hongshang" crawls out of the tomb. She is the remnant of the ancient concept of "war". She is empty and beautiful, and she only follows my own lead.
Yun Wuyue, the saint of the Tianshu Sect, believed that I was a "grave thief" who stole the power of the dead, and vowed to kill me to become a Taoist. However, at my funeral, my Taoist heart collapsed.
A mysterious storyteller came to me and told me with a smile: "What you protect is the truth that led to the destruction of the world. What you forget is the sin you yourself committed."
From then on, I embarked on a path of rebellion:
On the left are the "war remains" who are following me, on the right are the saints who want to kill me but are gradually becoming doubtful, in front are the Forgotten Sect who intend to make everything return to nothingness, and behind them are the lies that have been spun by storytellers for thousands of years and are difficult to distinguish between true and false. And I, in the cycle of burying legends, gaining strength, and losing myself again and again, snatched an answer:
Before I completely forget who "Suwan" is, I must remember why I was chosen as... The tombkeeper.
I wrote it myself, definitely five stars.
