Monkey D. Tian is Garp's younger brother and Luffy and Ace's great-uncle. A veteran of God Valley, he once saved Zephyr's family and threw a wrench in Doflamingo's plans. Now all he wants is to lie flat and enjoy retirement in the East Blue, while keeping an eye on two troublesome little brats.
With a sarcastic Guardian System at his side, Tian's daily routine consists of drinking, sleeping, delivering dead-on quips, and solving problems in the laziest, most absurd ways possible: like knocking the Lord of the Coast flying with a slipper or pointing out a boss's toenail fungus weakness.
He just wanted to live the carefree life of a lazy fish, but his family is a bunch of troublemakers, and the World Government keeps butting in. Oh, well. To protect this harbor and its fledgling heroes, the “old godfather of the East Blue” has no choice but to lazily... lift a finger and stir up the world once more.
