On the inkstone, in time
Lu Shi traced the location where the missing person last appeared - Shen Yan's ancient book restoration studio, and suspected that Shen Yan was related to the case. The two met for the first time, and their words were full of caution. Shen Yan discovers that Lu Shi's investigation direction is gradually approaching the secret of the bronze mirror, but Lu Shi sees through the secret obstruction, and the conflict escalates. In order to force out the bronze mirror, Yingge set a trap for Shen Yan. Lu Shi happened to break in after following the clues and accidentally helped Shen Yan rescue the siege, but he also made himself the target of Yingge. The two had to temporarily put aside their differences while being hunted. Shen Yan revealed part of the truth (the existence of the bronze mirror), and Lu Shi agreed to cooperate in order to find out the connection between the disappearance case and the Shadow Pavilion. • Personality contrast: calm and tolerant vs. Unruly and impulsive, creating a tense interaction.
• Two-way redemption: Shen Yan learns to rely on himself, and Lu Shi overcomes his guilt. They become each other's "mirror images" and see the missing parts of themselves.
• The suspense line and the emotional line are intertwined: the advancement of the case and the warming of the relationship between the two interact with each other, and the revelation of the secret promotes an emotional breakthrough.
