The Top Student Can't Keep Up the Act Anymore

[School Life, Pure Romance, Happy Ending]

A quirky, sunny underachiever X a cool, aloof top student with a surprisingly contrasting side

At the start of her second year of high school, Su Kui was delighted (actually, horrified) to discover that she had become desk mates with Shen Yan, the famously icy academic star of the whole school! Faced with the "no-crossing line" he drew and his frosty warning, "Don't cross the line," Su Kui remembered how dazzling he had looked running at sports day. She also saw his warm side, and the little flame of her secret crush quietly began to burn.

And so she launched her "Melt the Iceberg Plan"...

Offering him snacks? He frowned. "I don't eat those." Yet the next day, her cookies mysteriously disappeared.

An underachiever asking for help? He gave her a cold look. "You don't even know this?" But he quietly wrote down the detailed solution steps.

Sharing an umbrella in the rain? He said without expression, "It's on my way." Yet he quietly tilted the umbrella toward her.

But when Chen Ye, the sunny, athletic type, started showing interest in Su Kui, Shen Yan's icy expression finally crumbled.

"The homeroom teacher wants to see you." He grabbed her and pulled her away, only for there to be no one there at all.

"Milk tea. It tastes bad." Yet he "casually" took her cup and bit down on the straw she had used.

"You're noisy." He coldly drove away every boy near her, but when they were alone, he clasped her wrist and said in a husky voice, "Su Kui, you can only look at me."

From desk mates to a lifetime together, the little sun would eventually melt the iceberg.
