Shen Zhaozhao, an embroiderer from the enemy country of Liang, fled to Yanmen with her child A Zhu because her hometown was massacred, but was stopped by the guarding general Zhou Huaijin. Zhao Zhao used a handkerchief embroidered with hidden patterns of organs to prove his innocence and was able to stay in the city. After that, during crises such as food shortages, enemy sneak attacks, and fire attacks, one used embroidery to make traps and raise supplies (such as using embroidered cloth to hide steel wires to trip enemies, and using dyes to make fire extinguishing powder), while the other led troops to kill enemies and defend the city (such as (using traps to kill the Beidi cavalry and leading the remnants to attack the enemy camp at night), from being wary of each other to two-way protection - Huaijin secretly left dry food for Zhaozhao and helped her take care of Azhu; Zhaozhao embroidered a heartkerchief for Huaijin and used powder to make wound ointment. In the end, the two of them guarded Yanmen Pass and waited for reinforcements, but also guarded each other's sincerity.
