A global heat apocalypse erupts!
At 50°C, the ground can fry an egg. At 60°C, the air itself chokes the life out of you!
Can you believe this is humanity's last summer?
When the shut-in Zhang Xiaofeng crawls out of the campus ruins clutching a multimeter, he still has half a bottle of foul-smelling water in his hand.
This electrical engineering student, once used to keeping to himself, watched classmates break each other's necks over a mouthful of water. At last, he understood: in the apocalypse, there are no “good person” awards, only ruthless people who survive.
He modifies circuit boards into traps, turns discarded air conditioners into air purifiers, and scrapes together a slim chance of survival in the poisonous fog...
Hundreds of kilometers away, is the “military shelter” a beacon of hope or a pit that swallows people whole?
The extreme heat squeezes every last drop of kindness from the world. When all the resources are gone, would you stake your last breath on a “hope that might not even exist”?
Well written and very true. I hope the author will update quickly!
Excellent 👍Compact, true, logical, touching plot, excellent author. It is rare to encounter a good book. It must be fully praised.
I really didn't expect that the clichéd high temperature disaster could be written with such a fresh feeling. The descriptions are delicate and the characters are smart and refined. Except for some settings that are not very logical, it is good. It is worth recommending.
The writing is very real, and the description so far is very impressive.
Very good doomsday writing.
