Tales of the Spirit Mediums

After being laid off, Lin Xiaoman returns to her hometown in Northeast China to clear her head. In the attic of her ancestral home, she discovers the shamanic implements her great-grandmother left behind. That night, a snow-white spirit fox comes to her door. The village medium, Granny Zhang, tells her something shocking: she has been chosen by Lord Hu San and is to become the next spirit-medium disciple.
