At thirteen, the young Daoist Lingxu sneaks off to steal wine for his master and stumbles into the secluded Starwave Isles. He finds a little blind fox and casually brings home a sweet-smelling young Buddhist. Their first kiss in the peach grove and the time they stand shoulder to shoulder in the sea of mist awaken the first stirrings of young love. The Demon Abyss splits open, and the Four Symbols Demon-Sealing Formation is reactivated. Lingxu becomes the lock with his own body, while the Buddhist becomes a lamp with his life. The Heartless Gu, the Black Tortoise Armor, the upside-down sea city... A tale of redemption spanning the Buddhist and Daoist paths, and the divide between humans and demons, finally takes root and blooms in an innocent heart. He wants both the world and the one he loves.
