The Sword Spirit’s Comeback at Mount Shu

When an ordinary longsword glows faintly blue in the morning light, who could guess it holds a forgotten pact with the divine? I, a low-skilled young disciple who disguises herself as a man, have become the Host of this mysterious sword spirit. The gears of fate begin to turn.

When I first arrived at Mount Shu, I was like a sparrow that had strayed into a celestial palace, envying the eagles circling high above while repeatedly crashing into its cold eaves. I was behind in my training, hiding my identity, and at a disadvantage in battle... Every step felt like walking through thorns. But just as reality was about to clip my wings, that blue silhouette quietly appeared. The sword spirit spoke through the wind, teaching me the Sword Intent of the Gale; it summoned fire to awaken the sword soul sleeping within me. At a small sect tournament, I cleaved through the wind with one stroke, startling birds across the mountain. From then on, I was no longer someone who could be ignored.

But power is never a gift without a price. Behind every comeback is the exhaustion of racing against time; after every victory comes the fear of nearing exposure. I began to learn how to hide my edge behind a smile and hold fast to myself in the midst of madness. Xiao Yi’s gaze grew more and more intense, Mu Yun’s laughter rang brighter and brighter, while Xie Yue’s shadow quietly crept toward the summit of Mount Shu.

When the sword spirit’s secret is discovered, when justice and political schemes clash head-on, and when human greed awakens a sleeping demon beast, can we still believe that the sword in our hands can truly cleave through chaos?
