A Wild Sightseeing Trip: I Grinned as the Green Tea Girl Got Out to Rescue a Cat

Our company outing was at a wildlife park. A hypocritical coworker insisted on getting off the tour bus to rescue a hairless cat.

In my previous life, I was the driver. Ignoring my boyfriend's pleas, I pressed the accelerator and forced the bus to leave.

Everyone made it back to the office safely, but a headline reading "Mega-Influencer Dies at Wildlife Park While Trying to Save Beloved Pet" dominated the trending searches.

My coworker climbed onto the computer desk and yanked at my hair. "If it weren't for you, my favorite streamer wouldn't have died!"

Then she turned around and accused me of embezzling company funds. Even my boyfriend watched coldly from the sidelines.

The night I lost my job, the two of them joined forces to drug me unconscious and drag me to a karaoke club, where I was assaulted and killed.

Afterward, my coworker became famous for her devotion, and the entire internet came to her defense.

"She only had to get off the bus for three minutes to save her beloved streamer's life! What a woman!"

"That coworker who stopped her was so evil!"

After getting out of prison, she used the slogan "Imprisoned for Love" to become a major influencer.

My boyfriend, meanwhile, used me as a stepping stone to become finance director.

When I gripped the steering wheel again, I smiled and unlocked the doors.
