In ancient times, there was a "Ten Thousand Monsters Illustrated Book" that recorded the "real names" of all monsters in the world. The holder could command monsters. However, the illustrated book disappeared at the end of the Ming Dynasty, causing the monsters to lose control and start causing chaos in the world. The protagonist is a "demon painter" who can make monsters appear through her paintbrush. Her mission is to re-draw the illustrated book, but she discovers that the chaos of monsters stems from the destruction of nature by humans.
