Back to 1981: I Take on the World as a Middleman

Business tycoon Lin Feng, who died suddenly in 2023, is reborn in 1981 in a small town on the northeastern frontier. Armed with memories of the future, he starts out as a cross-border trader and makes his way through the wave of trade along the Sino-Soviet border. After weathering business wars and life-and-death crises, he grows from a self-employed trader into the head of a multinational conglomerate. Seizing the opportunities of reform and opening up, he pursues not only wealth amid the changing times, but also protects his sister’s dream of an education, his comrades’ trust, and the bonds they share. Thus begins a warm and uplifting tale of an underdog’s rise in a momentous age.
