Lu Yanlun, once near the bottom of his class, turns his fortunes around to become the province’s top scorer on the college entrance exam and gets into Huazhou University.
No one knows he is also “Yan Lord,” a Douyin idol with tens of millions of followers, or that he secretly lives with bipolar disorder.
On the first day of school, the sunny upperclasswoman showing him around turns out to be the girl he has treasured in his heart throughout his youth: Huangfu Wen.
He doesn’t know she’s his biggest fan;
and she has no idea that the idol she follows is the unassuming underclassman standing right in front of her.
In this life, he reaches the top, not for fame, but to make up for the regrets of the past and keep the upperclasswoman who lit up his years safely by his side.
