After his girlfriend dumps him for being poor and pathetic, Chen Yun wanders toward the road in a daze.
After a screech of brakes, he transmigrates to an apocalyptic wasteland.
A rotting Zombie King pins him against a wall, its fangs poised at his throat.
“Dumped in real life, and now the apocalypse wants to eat me too?” Chen Yun laughs furiously.
[Devour System activated! Beginner mission: Devour the “First-Generation Zombie King”!]
He lunges straight at the fangs. Blue light erupts from the System, and the Zombie King screams as it is drained into a withered corpse.
“So getting dumped was my golden finger all along!”
When the blood moon rises and Sadako crawls out of the TV, Chen Yun grabs her by the throat. “What's with all the wailing? Turn yourself into a power bank!”
An angel descends to deliver divine punishment. The System advises: [Divine essence detected. Steaming recommended!]
The Great Emperor of Fengdu sneers. “Mortal, I rule the cycle of reincarnation in the underworld!”
Chen Yun devours a hundred thousand underworld soldiers and strides across the Yellow Springs. “Now I'm the one in charge!”
This apocalypse puts every challenger in their place!
