The Haunted House's Love Curse (also known as: A Fated Encounter Through the Netherworld Mirror)
Lin Ran, an ordinary college student, is strapped for cash and rents a cheap haunted house on Wutong Street, where he unexpectedly meets the female ghost Su Jin. As the two spend more time together, Su Jin's yin energy affects Lin Ran, leaving him weak and able to see ghosts that ordinary people cannot. During an outing, he is attacked by an evil spirit and nearly dies, leaving him no choice but to seek help from the mysterious corpse burner, Old Yan. Lin Ran becomes his apprentice and learns Taoist arts, gradually uncovering the mystery of Su Jin's past and getting drawn into conflicts between the major schools of the geomancy world. As he handles all kinds of supernatural incidents, he eventually grows into a master of yin and yang.
