Card Master Strange Stories: the Style of My Illustrated Book Is Not Quite Right

When the dean slapped the table and roared, "Abstract cards are heresy," the graffiti bench in my card book suddenly came to life. It jumped on three legs and tripped the director, then slapped him hard in the face with its fourth leg. A line of small words is engraved on the base of the leg: "Truth coordinates: X-7, Y-23." I stared at the card book my mother left behind - it turned out that the "wrong runes" she studied were the real rules of the world.
