In 3012, an entire epoch has passed. Blue Star is now home to just five great nations, and Huaguo has become the top power in every respect, rightfully ruling as the strongest. The United States refuses to accept this and comes up with a plan: it keeps sending signals into space in an attempt to contact a highly advanced alien civilization and destroy Huaguo, reclaiming its position as the leading power on Blue Star. Forty billion light-years away, an advanced alien civilization detects the signal and, coveting Blue Star's many rare resources, decides to enslave it. It sends a vast number of alien species to invade. In the end, only Huaxia remains of the five great nations. I am Qin Mo, the 567th-generation descendant of Qin Shi Huang. From an ordinary high school student, I begin to show my promise, then gradually learn my true identity and accept the mission of opening the Classic of Mountains and Seas to save Blue Star. At last, I use the power of my bloodline to open the Classic of Mountains and Seas, gain its power, and save all of humanity.
