Years of Longing for You

[Reunion after years apart + rekindled romance + a child in tow]

Four years ago, an impossible misunderstanding drove Shen Shu to leave without a trace.

Four years later, she returns to China as a renowned AI research engineer, with a successful career and a hidden vulnerability: a three-year-old boy whose features bear an uncanny resemblance to someone.

She only wants to focus on her work and live a quiet life, but at an industry summit, she runs into the man she loved when they were young.

Gu Zimu comes from an exceptional family and has inherited its business empire. He founded his own technology company, carries himself with cool elegance, and has remained obsessed for years.

Former lovers, now workplace rivals, are forced to work together on a project.

He watches her coldly, testing her and pursuing her at every turn, unable to let go.

She keeps her distance, holds herself in check, and guards her secret fiercely.

Until the little boy looks up at him with his soft, sweet face and says in bewilderment:

“Uncle, you look just like the daddy I keep hidden away.”

In that instant, every disguise comes crashing down.

A buried misunderstanding, a hidden attraction, and all the years they lost.

Only then does Gu Zimu realize that she took more than his love when she left: she secretly carried away the redemption that would save the rest of his life.

Later, he throws himself into their relationship, indulging her without limits.

After all the barren years behind them, he wants only to give her the deep love that came far too late.
