On the tenth day after she was crowned empress, she killed him with her own hands: Emperor Xuan Ming of Great Yao, the ruler of her enemy nation.
Zhao Hongxiang, Great Yao’s great general and God of War, was Xuan Ming’s sworn brother. Betrayed, he watched his entire army wiped out and died full of hatred.
When Zhao Hongxiang opened his eyes again, he nearly lost it. This wasn’t reincarnation, it was being reborn as a whole new person! He had somehow become a six-year-old child, and a girl at that, with all his memories from his previous life intact. The Soup of Forgetfulness hadn’t worked. Frustration, helplessness, humiliation: a peerless general like him had become a little girl. He was mortified. But before long, Zhao Hongxiang realized something was wrong. The situation was tangled and complicated, and it turned everything he believed on its head.
The poverty-stricken family made him frown. Staring at their bare walls, he saw revenge as his only reason to keep going. Heaven had shown mercy, and the kindness Meng Po had accumulated had allowed him to be reborn without forgetting the grudges he carried from his past life. Now he had the chance to avenge his family, his loved ones, and his brothers, all of whom had died unjustly. Resolving to do so, he and his mother set out to take revenge on those responsible.
But he soon discovered just how inconvenient it was to be a girl. So what if he was a girl? He had once charged alone into enemy ranks as if they weren’t there, and he still carried the hatred of his past life. What could stop him? He had always been clever, decisive, perceptive, and brave. Everything he had been in his previous life was still with him. Surely he could handle this. But he was a girl, after all. Oh dear, trouble had arrived. The road to revenge was full of twists and turns...
The story has two parts. In the first, she takes revenge for herself. In the second, she devotes herself to governing and ascends the throne. After the fall of the old kingdom and the founding of a new dynasty, she becomes the Grand Princess.
