The people of Chu live in peace and prosperity. Though human nature is open and accepting, evil demons wreak havoc, and some people are worse than demons. Demon hunters in Chu are called Demon Suppressors. Some serve the government, while others are skilled civilians who fight to protect the people. In a small town in Jiangnan, a boy witnesses his parents being slaughtered by demons. His older sister raises him alone, and the two siblings depend on each other for survival. In this age when demons run rampant, the boy grows stronger step by step, protecting those he holds dear.
