Zhao Chen, a graduate student in the Department of Modern History, accidentally traveled through time and became Song Wentong (later Li Maozhen), a grassroots military officer during the reign of Emperor Xizong of the Tang Dynasty. Relying on his accurate understanding of the history of the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, he managed step by step in the troubled times of feudal rule, eventually ending the division and establishing a new unified dynasty.
