[Mother and daughter both reborn + revenge + taking down the scum]
The mother is skilled in business. Born into an impoverished branch of a royal clan, she was forced to marry a merchant. Her family is large, but she has no one to stand up for her.
The daughter is kind, gentle, and mischievous. Born into a merchant family, she was cherished while her mother was alive. After her mother died, her father gave her away as a gift.
Her father colludes with the enemy and secretly keeps a mistress from their country. Together, they arrange his wife’s assassination.
To save the mistress’s son after he gets into trouble visiting prostitutes, he gives his daughter to a brutal marquis as a concubine. She is beaten to death. Mother and daughter are both reborn. One takes charge of the family business from the outside, wresting back power and reclaiming it all. The other stirs up trouble within the household and sows discord. Working together, the mother and daughter take down the scumbag men and avenge their wrongs…
