Zh Dai is Xu Mu's plaything, enduring three years of abuse before faking her death and escaping with Pei Zhou's help. Using her mind-reading ability, she exposes Xu Mu's crimes and ultimately watches him go to prison from the courtroom, completing her transformation from “caged songbird to judge.”
