Everyone transmigrates into a highway survival game, where each survivor gets to choose one starting trait.
There are strength traits, speed traits, and all kinds of traits that enhance your abilities.
But protagonist Lin Mo's trait is a double-edged sword: it can add a random buff to any item or piece of equipment, and the result is guaranteed to include both something good and something bad.
Survivor #1: "Damn it! This is a scam shop! You said this bread would improve my physique, so why did I turn into a gorilla? You owe me an explanation."
Lin Mo scoffs. "Just tell me, did your physique improve or not?"
Survivor #1: "Well... it did, but..."
Lin Mo: "But what? Don't waste my time. I've got a business to run."
Then, when he reaches the first stop, Lin Mo finds himself cornered by a pack of gorillas.
Lin Mo: "I may have spoken a little too loudly. Sorry, could you maybe..."
The gorillas: "Guess! Guess wrong and we'll beat you up. Guess right and we'll beat you up anyway."
Lin Mo: "…"
