Bajie looked at the empty Buddhist altar and the curling smoke of the human world, and suddenly realized that the real practice is not in Lingshan, but in the hundreds of thousands of miles of mortal road that is full of stumbles, greed, anger, ignorance, pride, and doubt. What this pure altar holds is not incense, but a human legend of his ups and downs, struggles, and irony. This is a little man who was teased by fate, and lived an alternative "heroic" epic between divinity and pig nature, Buddhist rules and human desires.
