(A semi-dark story; the protagonist is no good person.) Born in the sludge of the Blackstone mines, Ling Ye is burdened by blood debts and despair. When a swarm of Zubat corners him in a death-filled mine, a forbidden power born of pain awakens within him: [Pain Resonance]. Devour suffering and turn it into strength! From mine slave to bloodshed in the black market, from a decaying dojo to battles of legend, he commands his demon mastiff companion and crushes the shackles of the old world with iron and fire. This is no path to Victory Road. He will trample over corpses to ascend the crimson throne that is his!
