Temporary Lover

Sensitive and nostalgic Lin Shi × outwardly cheerful but inwardly reserved Fang Shuo

Their romance begins when they help each other out during an online class and confess their feelings in a torrential downpour, but distance leads to misunderstandings. When Chu Xiyao threatens Fang Shuo with his father's debts, he swallows his pain and gives in, shouldering everything in silence, only for his love to become a source of misunderstanding. As obsession, heartbreak, and the struggle to break free unfold, his quiet endurance becomes an undercurrent, carrying the story toward its “temporary” ending.

“Your silence pushed me into an even darker night.”

“I finished singing the part about waiting for you, but you never listened.”

“Thank you for making me the lead, but this play is missing you in the audience.”

“I became the lead in my own story, but our story ended at ‘temporary.’”
