Before I wrote this book, I thought repeatedly about what kind of book I should write - the writers I had liked before, whether it was the science fiction writer Liu Cixin or the mystery writer Keigo Higashino, they were all based on their own knowledge reserves and used plots to package every story.
So what kind of knowledge reserve do I have? First, I am engaged in grassroots management work in a listed company and have certain management experience and knowledge; second, I am a senior history buff and have read three books this year: "Heroes of Dunhuang", "Rebellion of Li and Tang Dynasties" and "When the Stars Shine in the Northern Song Dynasty".
So, I decided to write an imaginary historical novel with a background similar to that of the late Tang Dynasty. The protagonist is a man with modern management knowledge who travels back to ancient times to govern a country. To be honest, I wrote an outline when I started writing, but after writing the plot of Hexi, the outline was basically useless. Later, when I was writing the second volume, I completely abandoned the outline.
The second volume is currently coming to an end, and there are preliminary plans for the third volume. I hope to write a story worth reading. This is probably why I started writing.
