Lin Jin, the God of War on the borderlands, was once the abandoned son of the Lin family. His aunt sent men to beat him so badly he was left near death, but he was saved by Jiang You and his wife, then brought back from the brink by a wandering Daoist physician’s miraculous skills.
When news reached him through the borderland sandstorms that Jiang You and his wife had been brutally killed by Jiang Chen Group, the battle-hardened general, a decorated commander who wielded a mighty army, resolutely submitted an application for indefinite leave.
He had engraved their life-saving kindness into his very bones. Now, he would personally settle this blood feud.
He returned to Jiang City for only two reasons: to protect Jiang Xin, the daughter of his benefactors, and make sure she never suffered the slightest harm again; and to tear away Jiang Chen Group’s all-encompassing shield, exposing every bloodstained crime to the full force of his wrath.
The God of War has returned. Kindness must be repaid, and vengeance must be served. In the name of iron and blood, he will keep her safe and sweep away every last speck of dust.
