Synopsis: [Patriotism + BG/GL (not necessarily) + Love Grows Over Time + Strong Female Lead + Reborn + System]
Sun Qingyan, a modern-day delicate lay-flat type, transmigrates into the body of the empress of the Great Zhou dynasty, who has the same name as her. The System tells her to reform the male and female leads and earn money by doing good deeds. Everything she gains will also be granted to her country. So she becomes cheerful and lively, scaring the original heroine, Lin Yanqiu, and the original male lead, Gu Yunzhou, half to death.
She cries about it, but decides to stop worrying and focus on earning money for her country and improving women’s status. She can deal with everything else later.
She never expected that this would change their opinions of her. Just as Sun Qingyan’s reform plan is about to succeed, both of them confess their feelings to her at the same time.
Sun Qingyan is stunned and hurriedly asks the System, [What’s going on? Does this count as failing the mission? Can I still go home? Do I get to keep the money I earned?]
The System replies, [Beats me.]
Sun Qingyan…
How can you be so unreliable?!
