During the three years of Yongzheng's confinement, Yinsi wrote his memoirs with blood and tears. From the glory of being protected by the Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang when he was young, to the game with Zhang Tingyu and other Han ministers when he formed the "Baye Party", to the betrayal of his close confidant Aling'a after the fall. The notes were secretly copied by the jailers and became the first-hand historical materials for later generations to study the party struggles in the Kangxi Dynasty.
