In the neon-soaked rainy night, the mycelium in Xuetong Laboratory squirmed in the light. The red light area prohibits new shadows, the blue light area forces shadows to split, and the lightless area awakens the faceless ones holding kerosene lamps - they use the blood-written rules to harvest violators and strip the shadows into nutrients for the underground shadow core.
When the shadow core over-devours dark elements, reality falls into deeper madness: shadow leeches penetrate the biological shadows and catalyze painful faces, amber prosthetic eyes convert fear into the energy of artificial suns, and the oil stains left by the drunkard on the street corner after being swallowed by the living shadow are actually the remains of the consciousness of the first-generation experimental subjects.
The price of detonating the shadow core caused half of the protagonist's body to become mycelium-the left eye condensed into a light core crystal, and the right eye was wrapped with dark mycelium. The newly born Shadow Clan civilization signed a "Light and Dark Symbiosis Treaty" with humans, and stars and black holes exchanged matter through shadow tunnels. When the light core of the snowball fell asleep at the edge of the black hole, mankind suddenly realized that shadow killing was the universe's extreme correction of the imbalance of light and darkness.
