A Tour Guide in Another Dimension

Just after ascending the throne, Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, unexpectedly transmigrates to a modern city during a moment of disorientation. He awakens in the rented apartment of Xu Mengxiao, a graduate student in history. Faced with the “strange world” of fluorescent lights, glass windows, and concrete and steel, the emperor is shocked. Then he sees Chang’an labeled as Xi’an on a map and hears that the Tang dynasty fell at the hands of Zhu Wen. Deeply shaken, he faints on the spot.

Modern office worker Xu Mengxiao initially assumes he’s the landlord’s son doing cosplay and plays along. But after Li Shimin keeps showing up, with words and behavior that closely match the historical records, Xu is forced to accept the supernatural reality: the real Emperor Taizong of Tang has transmigrated.
