Siheyuan: I Pulled Huairu from the Water, and Now She Won’t Leave Me Alone

Su Zhe bravely saves a little girl who is about to be sent flying by a dump truck.

But then he has a fateful encounter with the truck, one between life and death.

“Help! Somebody help!”

Su Zhe wakes up in the countryside and hears a girl crying for help after falling into the water.

Ignoring his agony, he drags his aching body into the river and pulls her out.

Instead of thanking him, the girl slaps him across the face.

Su Zhe refuses to take that lying down and immediately slaps her back.

Only after the System prompts him does Su Zhe realize he is in a parallel world in 1952.

And the girl he rescued is none other than Qin Huairu.

“If you won't marry me, I'll jump into the river with you.”
