The Chaotic Daily Life of an Otome Game Scammer

After getting chewed out by her boss one day, Xie Yuanyuan downloads an otome game again to blow off steam. It’s a card-based romance game, but as someone who knows the usual tropes, she understands that these paper characters will never fall for her in the story, no matter what. So the story starts going off the rails. It can also be played as a question-and-answer game, so she begins exploring uncharted scenarios.

“Thanks, Thanks” is the name Xie Yuanyuan gave the game.

The first paper character is An Ke, an award-winning actor.

An Ke: Hello, Ms. Xie.

Thanks, Thanks: That’s not quite right. I’m a man, so you should call me Mr. Xie.

An Ke falls silent for a moment, then says, “Mr. Xie.”

When An Ke, the paper character, backs down, Xie Yuanyuan knows she can take ninety-nine steps. Let’s break this game.

Xie Yuanyuan stares at the screen. She accidentally bangs her foot, but that still doesn’t stop her from keeping her eyes glued to the screen. After taking a sip of Lei Bi, she starts teasing the paper character again.

Please note: Thanks, Thanks is in the game, while Xie Yuanyuan is a wage slave in the real world. She teases the paper characters to get revenge for seven years of suffering, because the game developers are absolute scum.

The farther you get, the harder the plot is to predict. Just how unpredictable can it get?

Greetings to all my dear readers.
