A Summer Encounter on a Different Path

[Adapted from a relative’s personal experience. Read with caution!!!]

Japanese student x Yunnan girl

Suzuki Qinghe x Lin Yuenan

They met when he got lost and she happened to come across him. After she helped him, they both fell in love.

And so their love story began.

But fate had other plans. She found out he was Japanese, couldn’t accept it, and broke up with him.

A month after they parted, she discovered she was pregnant, but her health wouldn’t allow her to have an abortion.

She raised the child alone, but later, when her parents threatened to kill themselves, she had no choice but to send the child to him.

She got married. He killed himself at home.

“Qinghe, I love you, but I can’t love you.”

“Yueyue, I can only love you until I’m 35.”

Why 35? Because 35 is her favorite number.

Come and witness two people who love each other but can never be together.
