In Fuyuki City, a Holy Grail War suddenly erupts over the “Authority to Rewrite the Foundations of Human History,” transforming the city into a massive “real-world server.” Shangguan Lingyun is forcibly drawn into the battle, but an heirloom from his family unexpectedly grants him “developer” privileges over the Akashic Loom System.
While the other Masters are still fighting by the old rules, Shangguan Lingyun can already “see” the world's underlying code, analyze its rules, identify its loopholes, and even “complete” his incomplete Servant, “Tomoe Gozen,” by hunting down creatures spawned by the System.
